What are Juniors looking forward to for Senior year ?

I interviewed five students based on what they will be looking forward to as well as their goals for their upcoming Senior year at Mendocino High School. In addition, Senior year is all about having to have a little more privileges when it comes to the AE week trips and Senior trips, being the example for all the 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. And last but not least, SENIORITIS does exist. Signing up for SAT or ACT, creating a FAFSA, applying for colleges, picking your majors, finding your classes and scholarships will get to you, but you’ll realize your senior year will actually go by rapidly to the point you’re already walking the stage.

    Luciano Martinez

“ I’m looking forward to the grading system to still be the same, and my goal is to get good grades, to have a lot of fun, and to still keep on playing soccer.”

  Keiran Zaccheo

“I’m looking forward to being at the top finally, and my goals are to have good grades and have fun.”

Lily Semans

“I’m looking forward to being the last year of high school, and I’m kinda nervous about it, and my goal is to get accepted into colleges, and to have the least the amount of anxiety as possible while going through the application process, and to not procrastinate, and to have better time management.”

     Skye Starkweather

“I am looking forward to my senior year at the Mendocino High School, and my goals are to graduate; get all my applications, scholarship applications done;  take classes I really want to take; take classes that will prepare me for college; and have a kick ass senior project.”

    “Remy Damiani”

“My first two years maybe I didn’t do the greatest, so next year I’m hoping to do better school-wise, [so]  that I can get into a good school, and it’s pretty much my last year, so I’m going to try to make it count, and do some fun stuff as possible.”
